Scoring Your Answers
9 - 10 "yes " answers : You have all
the requirements to do very well in an
online course.
6 -8 "yes" answers : You will probably
do well with an online course, as long
as you pay attention to those areas that
may be difficult for you (questions you
answered "no" to). Typical difficulties
with online learning include getting behind,
not reading instructions carefully, not
dealing with technical issues, or not
spending enough time on assignments.
1-5 "yes" answers: Online courses may
not be right for you at this time. Talk
to your advisor to see what his/her opinion
is. If you decide to go ahead, prepare
yourself as well as possible for success
by communicating frequently with the instructor
about areas you may be having difficulty
with. You may also want to seek help through
Academic
Support.
